Visit Pearl Street

Pearl Street is the heart and soul of Boulder. There’s shopping, restaurants, art galleries, street performers, bars and people watching. It’s the center of historic downtown and can’t be missed. Definitely plan to take a stroll down the brick-paved pedestrian walkway.

Visit Downtown Golden

Downtown Golden is a charming, historic town nestled in the foothills of the Rockies, just 30 minutes from Boulder. Known for its Wild West history and small-town vibe, it's a great place to explore—and one of Mads and Sam's personal favorites.

  • Take a stroll along the scenic Clear Creek Trail

  • Explore Historic Downtown Golden's boutique shopping, local restaurants, breweries, and art galleries

  • Take a guided tour and tasting at the iconic Coors Brewery, or visit one of Golden's many craft breweries (Golden City Brewery being a favorite)

  • Visit the Sherpa House Restaurant and Cultural Center. Specializing in Nepalese, Sherpa, Tibetan, and Indian cuisine, Sherpa House invites you to savor the flavors of the Himalayas while immersing yourself in the traditions of the Sherpa people. The décor of the restaurant is a true representation of a traditional Sherpa home in the Solu Khumbu district of Nepal, meticulously modeled after the real houses found in the mountains. They have a great lunch buffet.

Visit Lookout Mountain

Lookout Mountain is located on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. At an elevation of 7,377 feet, it offers stunning views of both the Rockies and the city of Denver. It is known for its natural beauty and breathtaking vistas.

Calling All Music Lovers

Visit Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre. Red Rocks is nestled within a geological wonder—towering red rock formations that are over 280 million years old and taller than Niagara Falls.

  • Take a hike through Red Rocks Park.

  • Visit the amphitheatre for free before 1 p.m.—once concert setup begins, the venue closes to the public.

Visit Dinosaur Ridge

A great destination for kids and anyone curious about fossils, geology, or the prehistoric era. The site features hiking trails, a museum, a visitor center, and actual dinosaur footprints.

Take a Drive Along the Lariat Loop
The Lariat Loop is a 40-mile scenic byway that takes you past Lookout Mountain, Red Rocks Park, Evergreen Lake, and even a bison herd. It connects the towns of Golden, Morrison, and Evergreen—Samantha’s hometown—and offers a beautiful drive through the foothills and mountains. Along the way, you'll find plenty of spots to shop, eat, hike, or simply take in the natural beauty.
