Heads-Up for Wedding Weekend in Boulder!
We wanted to give everyone a quick heads-up that the weekend of our wedding, the CU Buffs will be playing Brigham Young University in Boulder. This college football game is expected to bring a lot of extra energy—and people—to town! 🎉

While it’s sure to make the weekend feel even more lively and exciting, it will also make things a bit busier. Expect more traffic around town and potentially longer travel times between wedding events. Lodging prices in Boulder have also gone up due to the game.
That said, we were able to block some rooms at the Boulder Marriott on Canyon Drive, where most of the wedding party will be staying. Unfortunately, there aren't enough rooms for everyone and all the other hotels refused to block rooms due to the football game. Some guests have found good options through Airbnb or by staying in nearby towns. If you’re having trouble finding a place, please don’t hesitate to reach out to either of us—Sam’s mom is holding a few extra rooms at the Hyatt Place in Boulder under her name and may be able to help.
Here is the reservation link to the room block at the Marriott: Boulder Marriott Room Block Reservations (Note: Only rooms with King beds are remaining, but if you call them, right after you book, they can likely switch you to a room with two queen beds).
Transportation Note:
We will be providing transportation to and from the wedding venue only from the Boulder Marriott /Residence Inn and Hyatt Place Boulder. If you're staying elsewhere, please plan accordingly to get to one of those two locations to catch the shuttle. If you park your car at the hotel during the wedding, there will be a fee. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to coordinate pickups from other hotels outside of Boulder. There is plenty of free parking at the wedding venue, if you are planning on driving.
As the wedding weekend gets closer, we’ll be sharing more details about transportation logistics and other important info to help everything go smoothly.
We’re so excited to celebrate with you—thanks for being part of the adventure!
Madison and Samantha
